Here's the uncomfortable truth: under the laws of photochemistry, 100% of transparent TPU cases will yellow. "Never yellow" isn't a feature — it's a physically impossible claim.

Photo-Oxidation: The Microscopic Culprit

Most people assume yellowing comes from sweat or surface dirt. The real trigger is happening every single day, invisible and relentless: ultraviolet-driven photo-oxidation.

Under a microscope, TPU's polymer chains look like a long line of people holding hands. UV photons act as invisible molecular scissors. Every time your phone sits near a window or outdoors in natural light, those high-energy photons hack away at the chain. Chemical bonds break. Free radicals form and rapidly combine with oxygen in the air.
